Inglewood Inn is an Adelaide Hills garden wedding ceremony venue just 30 minutes from Adelaide. Our single, purpose-designed ceremony space sits beneath the canopy of century-old trees, with manicured lawns and the Para River creating a natural, romantic backdrop. It’s private, relaxed, and beautiful in every season — the perfect place to say “I do” surrounded by nature.

Our garden ceremony space is set beneath the shade of century-old elm trees, with manicured lawns and the Para River just beyond. The space has been designed for weddings — flat, shaded, and framed by natural beauty — so your guests are comfortable and your photos look incredible without the need for excessive styling.
Because your ceremony and reception are held in the same venue, your day flows seamlessly from vows to celebration. Guests can move straight from the ceremony to drinks and canapés, while you and your photographer make the most of the property’s many scenic spots. You won’t need to worry about travel time or logistics — everything happens in one place, so you can relax and enjoy every moment.

While there’s one ceremony location, our property offers a variety of settings for your wedding portraits, each with its own charm:
Gollop’s Bridge
one of Adelaide’s oldest bridges, hidden from the road and draped in ivy. The arched stonework and leafy surrounds give your photos an almost European feel.
The Elms
towering over 100 years old, these trees offer texture, shade, and character. From dramatic wide shots to close-up moments, they look stunning from every angle.
Creekside
for couples happy to venture down the gentle slope, the creek offers a secluded canopy with dappled light and the sound of running water.
Rolling lawns and heritage brickwork
combining open space with the rustic charm of our 1857-built inn.

A Venue for All Seasons
The gardens and surrounding hills change dramatically with the seasons, giving every wedding a unique backdrop:
November to March
The elms are in full green leaf, creating a cool, shaded canopy for summer ceremonies. The lawns are lush, and the dappled light filtering through the branches adds a romantic glow to photos.
April to May
Autumn brings deep reds, oranges, and golds as the leaves change colour. By late May, the fallen leaves form a rustic, crunchy carpet — a photographer’s dream.
June to August
The trees stand bare, revealing sweeping views of vibrant green hills. Winter rain fills the creek, creating a flowing water feature and a peaceful soundtrack to your ceremony.
September
The pear tree bursts into blossom, bluebells appear across the lawns, and fresh green growth begins. It’s a soft, fresh palette for early spring weddings.
Late October
New summer leaves return to the elms, the creek slows to a gentle trickle, and the hills begin to turn golden, signalling the start of the warm season again.
These changes mean no two weddings look exactly the same — your day will have its own unique colours and textures, shaped by the time of year you choose to marry.
